Anyone willing to lend a hand at drv?

So, I have a front reciever hitch I need to get installed in my truck. I have all the needed tools, I just need an extra body to help me out. Wondering if I bring the hitch out, is anyone willing to help me get it installed? I'm guessing it'll take us less than an hour to do... if not it'll wait, but I thought I'd throw it out there. I have oba, an impact wrench and a drill along with tools.

Anyone and everyone willing is a treat for me. I've got brews for ya. I guess now to decide if we need a specific time, or if we will just get it done whenever. I should be there around 4pm Friday.

Hmmm there might be a change of plans. Father in law said he may be available to help if I need it... I'll keep this thread updated, but it's good to know I will have help if I need it.

Haha.. something like that. I'm just ironing out details right now, not sure if the install will happen this weekend or not. Who knew people were interested in working on trucks in the dirt lol.

Mine took an 11/16 drill bit, if yours does too don't buy one let me know and I will bring mine! I like working on trucks... Trust me, I just put a tranny in!

Travis, the instructions only call for basic hand tools and a 1 & 1/8" hole saw which I already have. My father in law was not really up for the challenge tomorrow. I'll bring the hitch, and if we get it done, cool. If not, no biggie. :)

I can either help or stand around with a beer and "comment" on the process. let me know what you need

It's on then. I'll bring the hitch, the hole saw, and any tools I can think that we might need.... Cris can supervise with beer in hand...

One thing I failed to think of. I am going to be at pechanga casino from Thursday through Friday morning.. and I'm leaving straight from there out to drv, so the truck will be parked at pechanga for a little more than 24 hours mostly UN attended.. I guess I could pull the hitch put of the box when I get there and slide it in the back seat...

If I throw my hat in the supervision ring it'll be almost like a government project! Better bring more beer Scott, you know how those government deals always go way over budget!

Ok, so my father in law got a wild hair and decided we would do the install. Took us around an hour. Now, I am thinking about bolting my winch to the mounting plate, and dragging it to drv, and wiring it once I get out there. Can anyone tell me the best way to wire a winch? Run the leads straight to the battery, or???
