I agree, bad call on Toyotas part. The Titan and Ram 1500 are both bringing in a diesel option, with Chevy and Ford options on the horizon.No diesel... SMH

A bunch more details here, from what it sounds the redesign is more extensive than it appears. Not sure why they'd keep what looks like the exact same cab design if it had to be redesigned anyways.
He touches on the issue of cost for adding a diesel engine option. I suspect they're waiting to see what the consumer response is to the Ram 1500 diesel and Colorado diesels before making the investment.

Is the Colorado getting a diesel? I know that it was being considered but had not heard any more. Its been announced that the 2016 Nissan Titan is getting the 5L Cummins also.
Various sources have been saying it is confirmed for next years model.
