If you need more targets I have 2 ar500 steel pistol targets you guys are free to use. I have to leave fairly early on sunday, but I'm sure, since my commute spans 83 miles one way from Lake arrowhead to Los angeles, I can pick up my steel targets from a semi local AAV member at a later time along the way, if it'll help you guys out.

I don't think I'll be able to pick up the four AR500 targets from my friend's place since the truck's in the shop and I'm not going to have time to head out there. I'll still be able to lend a helping hand on the line if need be.

Sounds like we are all good to go with everyone volunteering. Should be fun. Oh and cris no clue what Schmuck with a beard you mean. I shaved it off or did you not even notice?

I can bring them back

Scott, if you bring them I'll recover them on Sunday, we'll figure a way to get them back to you, I'm in the Temecula area.

If you can use them, I'll bring them. I don't have stands for them, they are just the plates but I'm sure you guys can be resourceful enough..

Well, while trying to slim down the amount of range stuff I was bringing, I left the magazines at home for my son's 10/22. Does any one have an extra we could barrow this weekend? Or is someone driving by a shop that might be able to pick one up for me?
I'm in SanClemente right now. To go back up the 5 to my house and come back would be the cost of those 2mags I have home.

I think I have 3 with me. We can share

Just want to thank Brett for organizing this, and maintaining a safe range so we did not have a situation like this

I did not shoot a lot, but had a ton of fun, got to try out some nice firearms and learned some stuff. Can't really ask for more than that

Another thanks to Brett for putting together and keeping the range safe.

Dang how did that guy not even hear the drill being run, or even see all the dust being kicked up around him?? Talk about a lack of situational awareness. Derp can get you killed.

Not really. It was a match. He had hearing protection on and probably had guys running courses of fire to the lanes to the right and left of the burm. So he probably couldn't differentiate them shooting from this guy. That solely rests on the RO for not physically walking downrange past the targets and barricade to ensure the downrange area was clear. Everyone was very lucky.
