I would like to thank everyone who brought bacon and/or bread to this event. I'm guessing that we blew through about 30 - 35 pounds of bacon to satisfy our membership's insatiable desire for the substance! I hope everyone had a great time creating their own creation!
I particularly want to thank those of you who rolled up their sleeves and helped with the food prep and cooking! Without all of you pitching in, we never could have pulled this off! Special, Super-Duper, Mojoe Honorable Mention goes to Bob (bob91yj) and his lovely and vivacious wife, Machell. Bob was a bacon makin' machine! He literally sat at his Mojoe station (using the propane burner that he brought) for at least three hours straight cooking pound after pound of bacon!
Machell sat with us at the chopping table all afternoon, chopping and cutting up all the toppings that we presented for the Bacon Bar. Then she became the Toaster-in-Chief and toasted countless slices of bread and rolls on the Mojoe!
