The wife & I spent the afternoon down @ the shop last week end, she changed out the bedding in the camper for our next up & coming trip to run Arkansas section of the Trans America Trail again. We went through the back storage area of the camper again making sure we have all the gear we need.
Did a check over on the camper found wiring run hanging, the clip was missing must of happen when we ran The Glade Top Trail Mark Twain Nat'l Forest in Missouri. Got that fix.
Leaving the day after Thanksgiving.

looks like the weather is going to cancel our trip, 4 days straight of rain. Those backcountry back road when saturated by day after day of rain will put you in ditch next to those rice fields. Especially on the 1st 1\3 of section Arkansas TAT (1st 198 miles) which all flat lands farmlands until outside of Quitman Arkansas then you start seeing from a distance those foothills of the Ozarks.

Well that stinks, I was looking forward to a write-up and some neat pictures.
it looks like now 2\3rd's of Arkansas TAT will be rained on, that section when it has that much rain it's like snot, you will end up in a ditch next to some farmers, cotton, rice or milo fields. I do not want that especially pulling a small squaredrop camper. We might head for southwest Missouri to Sugar Camp Trail \ Scenic Byway
