Good work!

Preparation pays off, so I was able to make all the new cables to get my new battery charger installed last night. It's hammering away at the house cells as we speak. Have to put in a semi-normal day of work, but leaving from Poway, so I hope to be in camp by 1600 or so.
 
OK, total noobie question (since this is my first Rendezvous event), this is at the 78 @ Split Mountain Rd? Or is that where last year's event was? I'm most likely going to be there late Friday afternoon, if not Friday evening, and want to make sure I'm not wandering all over the place looking for you guys! :)
 
See post #1 , it was said to be about 1 mile past end of pavement following RR tracks. Not as far as last year though
 
Im a noob to this event and location too so...here it goes...

@JChatary I am in the same boat, PM me those points please? I tried the ones from the 2013 write up and it comes up off the 10 at Red Cloud Mine and Summit Rd, NE of Salton Sea? From what I can tell based on this thread it is south on Split Mountain off of the 78 as well. Im trying to avoid getting....:aliens:rofl

The 10@red cloud was two years ago. 78 @ split mountain is the right general place

Well the carnage continues.

Despite my best efforts, hopes and wishes; after 200K miles my transmission decided to give up this morning. Won't drop into 1st unless I cycle to reverse first and then randomly decides if it will shift to 3rd or beyond. I guess all the fine gold/brass particles in the fluid that I changed last week were trying to tell me something. Definitely gonna need tomorrow's wages for repair. :-(

With that, I'm out.

Hopefully someone else will benefit from my loss. Have fun everyone!!

I have a few shirts to print up today and I can bring a few to the event if people are interested?

I added a $0 Shipping to any country except USA so if you chooses somewhere other then USA it will be free pickup at the event - orders need to be in very soon for me to get them done by tomorrow to bring with

While they are normally full of it in this case they are correct, I will put you on the list at #16 but you are going to have to get over to the introductions thread and tell us a bit about yourself
