I have 3 off road style vehicles in various stages of build.I spend close to 180 nites a year in a sleeping bag. If you were to ask me which I enjoy more, building or using, I would say using. Planning, researching, dreaming, building is a lot of fun too. I think the prep is as much fun for me as the doing, frankly. I have found that even when I'm doing, I'm think about builds. What I do know is this thing we do is addictive and a blast.

I have two and feel the same way. My schedule allows me more time for building/planning then it does actually getting out there but I enjoy all aspects. The day will come when I'm out and about full time but I'm not there yet.

It's the hunt or pursuit that's more fun than the result, ie: the journey vs. the destination

I also enjoy both, my "Not a tear drop" is up for sale only because have a buyer that asked for it and is saving his bucks for it, $10,000! So far he has $3,000 saved.
I might have to start a new project in a couple of years.
