What to read/watch when not adventuring

When I can't get out, I find myself browsing the web for reviews and reports by others and I am looking for recommendations. What blogs, publications or channels do you enjoy that are related to adventure and travel?

I'll start the list with what I am into right now and will add others as they are suggested.
I just started following Dirt Road Trip and East Coast Overland Adventures after meeting them at Appalachian Rendezvous.
I really like OutdoorX4 magazine. Found that in the Base Exchange in Oman and subscribed as soon as I got back home.
And on YouTube, I have been watching Expedition Overland and Mountain State Overland. I like Mountain State because it covers areas that I can get to here on the east coast.
So what do you follow?

As far as blogs go, Dirt Road Trip is a great one. I'm also enjoying a very well written family style blog called Someday I'll Learn as well as Pablo and Anna at viajeros4x4x4.com - great people living the dream.

In my humble opinion, too many blogs in this genre tend to be "all about me" or overtly "all about the money". Not my cuppa and one of the reasons I moved away from my own personal blog (Tacodoc) in favor of a broader, community based platform here. I wanted something more engaging and not all about me.

As for publications, I'm very excited about the soon to be released Adventurist Life. I'm really looking forward to something less focused on "stuff" and shiny ad revenue based business models like OJ and OX4 and more focused on the people, experiences and adventures. Real people getting out there and doing it.

Video? Not really a big fan of the "filming our new sponsored gear in action" genre. I'm more of a point and go type and don't need a video tour to motivate me but its cool that some enjoy them. I just don't have time to watch much TV these days ;)
