What is everyone doing this summer?

Much of my summer is being spent taking care of my wife after major neck surgery. Sje is not likely to be back to work(full time) before halloween. I traded in my JGC for a 2013 f150 FX4. I need the room. We will probably haul the camper a few place after labor day. Some point in October I will do a solo trip with the pups some where in Colorado.

Yellowstone, Grand Teton, and possibly Great Basin National Parks in August
 
Did the Tetons, Yellowstone, Glacier, Arches and Mesa Verde last month with the family. This month I'm trying to avoid spontaneous combustion when outside and working to pay off the awesome trip we just finished. Hoping to do a solo run to Big Bend this fall for 4-5 days.
 
Work, family, and MRV. Gotta save for the coming big knot tying stuff. No time for numerous trips like last year... sigh.
 
Working waiting on cooler weather. Thinking very seriously of buying a roof rack and roof top tent
 
Now that I've figured out how to NOT read/comprehend/follow instructions, and pissed half the staff off trying to figure out what the hell I'm doing in the MRV thread(and they thought they made things stupid proof with fancy fonts and colors...proved them wrong), immediate plans are to have a :beer, and consider my work for the day here to be done!:cool:

MRV is the biggest thing on the immediate horizon. No grand adventures in the works. Our vacation time usually revolves around the Baja races and King of the Hammer's.
 
Quick Eastern Sierra trip-week of work in the central valley-Weekend in Morro Bay so far.
 
Took my new Subaru Outback soft-roading in Nantucket. Over soft sand, the Subaru handled it well.

Aside from MRV, I'm hoping to sneak away up the Mogollon Rim a few times this summer. Otherwise, I've got a bunch of old R/C and daily driver/race car parts to get listed on eBay, and a bunch of steering/suspension work to do on Fezzik.

Oh, and keep working on Adventurist Life. :)
 
Me? Just organizing events on two coasts, getting ready to participate in another major off-road competitive event in August. Getting ready to sell a house and move across country.

And holding down a day job and a family.

Oh, and waiting for my camper to be delivered... ;)

Heading up to Monache Meadows in a couple of weeks then MRV. Congratulations to the op for the new rig. The F150 does great as an overland vehicle
