Wanderer's Kitchen

Nice write up on your Kitchen. I've used the basic propane stove, small folding table and nesting aluminum pots and pans for years. Then last year I got a wild hair and only used a single cast iron skillet and fire to cook for most of the season. It was a neat experiment, but I think before spring gets here I'll be revamping my camp kitchen.

I've always wanted to give one a try and cook in one buried in the ground. Just haven't try it yet.

Augie, no need to bury dutch ovens in the ground, simply make a good fire early in the day and then take the coals and make sure they are under the oven and on the lid of the oven and you have basically done the same thing as burying it!
