Ventura County/San Fernando Valley-to-DRV caravan

A few of us will be leaving for DRV from Simi Valley Friday the 20th. If you'd like to join us, we'll be meeting in the parking lot of Denny's/Starbucks on Sycamore Dr., just south of the 118 freeway, at 9 AM. Post up if we'll see you there or you'd like join up along the way to DRV.

Oh, if anyone already has .gpx info for the DRV area and would like to share, please let me know.

Thanks, Mitch. Any route recommendations/waypoints? I think I have a trail with waypoints in my handheld gps, but would like to use the tablet for this trip.

I don't have any recommendations. We usually just get there as quickly as possible.
 
I wouldn't mind caravan in in with you guys from the durt, or meeting somewhere along the way.. I'm in the inland empire area. I was planning on being there Thursday night, but now it looks as though I'm aiming for noon on friday.
 
SFV crew, are we going to set up the Tactical Tropical Anti-Radar Defense Tarp (it's not a tarp) this year?

I'm sure the TTARDT will make an appearance.. How else will we know that the Xpeditionoutfitters crew is there? :D

Plans changed, and I'm planning on being at the ocotillo air strip by 10 am, getting an early start... drive safely everyone.

I'llbe working tomorrow so I won't be getting in until later. Hopefully not at midnight this time
 
In Covina and should be heading that way around 10 if I can get all loaded in the morning. If you are a ham I will have 146.460 on simplex.

Slight change of plans. Still leaving Simi at about 9, but we're meeting at a house. We'll still be passing by the original meeting spot, so post up and stand by; we'll catch you on the way to the freeway.
