I know at least a couple of you placed advance orders for the new edition of Tom Sheppard's Vehicle-dependent Expedition Guide, which I had the honor of co-authoring. Demand was strong, so we had over 400 orders to fulfill by the time the books arrived. I've just about caught up, so if you don't have yours yet it should be along shortly. Got mine today Jonathan - the extra wrapping was worth the effort since the postal carrier crammed it in the mailbox. It came through unscathed.

Briefly scanning through it I found that it is a significant update from the previous second edition and well worth the cost. Anyone who is serious about overland vehicle dependent travel from a day to a year needs to have this book in their kit. It's a lot of book to enjoy and expand your knowledge base.

I also see, as we periodically review I4WDTA curriculum, we have another relevant contemporary publication to reference as background material for plans of instruction and training standards. Way to continue to sustain and contribute to the greater community!

Thank you again for bringing this to the continent and the hard work getting it to us so quickly.
