One thing you rarely see about these tables is them packed and in their case. How about some pics in that condition and your thoughts on ease of packing (some are complicated)?

BlkWgn, I think you'll like this one. It fits the bill pretty well as and overland/car camping table. Ours has held up pretty well to the abuse we throw at it daily.

TangoBlue, tons of pics in the review, including it packed up and in a few stages of being packed up. This table is super simple to setup and break down, which is a big reason why we like it so much. Any added time spent doing chores like this in our day just annoys me and takes away from adventures that I could be having.

That table looks pretty nice, but it is not quite large enough for me. I have a 3 burner coleman, and dont think this will leave me any table space. I do see that they have a larger table in a little different design that I will have to take a closer look at. http://travelchair.com/products/canyon-table-el-grande

Got it. Like it. Extendable legs do not hold with any pressure whatsoever, e.g., leaning your elbows on it while at the table seated. They do help in leveling the table on uneven terrain. It does help immeasurably with extra cooking-height space for food prep and keeping other items handy when serving/preparing chow.

Also not large enough for us. We donated our 4'x2' table to MOJOE when theirs broke at Toys for Tots, and I still haven't found a replacement. I was looking at the Snow Peak Single Action Large, but weight worries me. And it's pricey when compared to similar sized tables. What also worries me about these tables is being able to set a hot dutch oven on them.

4x2 would be a good size. I really need to do some looking and get something before DRV gets here

I'm currently in the table shopping mode too. Thanks for starting this!

Under its specs for weight it says 12.0000 is that lbs or kg? And why so many zeroes?

Mitch find some Hardi Backer scraps and cut to 12" square would act like a large trivet (will not combust)
