Training, across the US..

Sup all, got up at 4:30 am California time, and it's now past midnight PA time. I'll be here all week training for work. Had some good beers, and decent food so far. I'm just glad the airline didn't lose my luggage on the connecting flight. I can't help but think of how much I need to get done on the truck before drv, but it's all good. Hoping this week treats me well! I will be sure to take some pics of my trip...

I've been working for Penske truck leasing for a couple of years now, but recently (10 months ago) got promoted to management, so I'm at corporate hq for training.

I'm not a fan of Philly, but there is some great historical places to explore in the older part of town.
 
I lived in Philly for three years when I was in the Navy, wasn't a fan of that town either. City of Brotherly Love, my butt!
 
Lived there for three years as well, West Philly out on the Main Line by Valley Forge/West Chester is very nice I wouldn't mind living there again. The rest yea I pretty much agree.

If you're in Wayne PA near King of Prussia go to Real Pizza across from the train station, they have the best Steak Stromboli.

Damn.. I'm in Reading, about 45 miles away from Real Pizza. I went to Smokey Bones BBQ last night. While the beers on tap were great, the food was not so great, nor was the service. However, the bartenders were nice to look at...
 
Thinking about heading to Canal Street Pub for lunch today. Reviews on yelp look promising, and the beer selection is hard to beat, from what I read.
 
Training starts in 8 hrs and I need to be awake in 6, but my body is still on Cali time, so gojng to sleep ain't happening and it's almost midnight...

So I haven't updated this much, as we've been crazy busy in training, and after training, there was lots of beers... I had an AWESOME time at training. The first time I have every really ENJOYED training. My company spent a lot of money to recruit Jeb Blount, who is an INCREDIBLE speaker. It was GREAT! I'm chilling in my hotel room right now. Leaving tomorrow morning.. Kinda bummed I'm leaving, but happy to see my family, and happy to be out of 6 degree weather!
