For the newbies here in the forum, and for the masters as well. allow me to push the PETT portable toilet. A lot of us use these little jewels, ya there a bit pricey with the bags, but there is no waste disposal issues, either you can bury it deep in the desert or dispose of it in a Trash receptacle at a local filling statin. all safe clean, easy to store. post up your comments or dislikes, looking for more feedback. Thanks. Jim.

I love my PETT set up. Been using it for about ten years or so. Its still hanging in there although it may be reaching the end of its service life. (The tent).

We used the PETT in Iraq at remote FOBs. It's a great piece of gear and sanitary as well. I used to use the bags in a luggable loo but have since moved on to a Thetford.

I like the PETT as well . The only drawback is the bags start breaking down quickly. So you you are packing out your waste ,as you should be, you need to properly dump them within a couple of days or the they get stinky.
