The Memorial Day Americana Road Trip

This was a trip from Mount Washington all the way home via back roads and completely off the interstates. Total of just over 14 hours with a pic taken every 5 seconds.

Total time 3m 43s. Foo Fighters "Long Road to Ruin" as the background. Yep it's allowed I just can't make money off the video. If you see an ad it's the label making money.

I like it, a little tough visually for an old codger like me. Did you use the Garmin for this? The time lapse effect is fun for short clips, great music choice.

Used the GoPro 4. Between the Garmin and the GoPro I find the Garmin easier to use. I always have to F around with the GoPro to get it to connect via wi-fi. The Garmin, I just have to turn it on. The quality on both are about the same with the GoPro edging out the Garmin a little bit. More capture options.

I tried to sync the street lights to the music in some places by slightly adjusting the frame rate and dropping some frames just to see what I could learn in the process. I learned it takes a hell of a lot more planning than what I had put into it.

I'm going to vote with Andy on this one, a little overwhelming for me, I actually liked it better in the little version vs full screen.

I guess the flashing lights are a bit seizure inducing. There are some sections when I watch it where I'm visually tricked into thinking it's going backwards. Sunrise to sunset would have been better.
