That's the same look inusually get when trying to mess with "complex" residential wiring tasks. You know, tough things like installing a ceiling fan. "The sparks means it's working..."

On another note, electric motors are instant-on torque machines. One day, possibly you might overland with an electric vehicle. Lots of problems to solve first. I think it might be more likely we see an electric UTV first.
