A few pics of my boy Joe who was doing his best to get a fire going. He had the deal correct, and some awesome tinder collected, but like his old man... perhaps lacked the attention span for this ancient technique. Still.... made my day, followed by a twilight walk in the woods.

OK...well come to NC and teach... the point is my 6 year old did all this on his own and was excited about it.

That's outstanding! Given a bit of instruction you'll be able to sit back and let little man build the fire while you tend to other business.
