Sighting: 2015 Chevy Colorado

Rumors abound (most likely true this time) of this Australian designed Holden coming to the US in 2015 as the new Colorado. Word is a diesel will be available as well as a Direct Injection 4.3 V6... maybe even a turbo option.

The Holden version competes directly with the Navara, Hilux, Ranger, Amorok and other world platform trucks down under and is well received there. Of course, the North America version will be nuanced but there is hope that Chevy may get the "Colorado II" right.

I like it! I hope they finally make it! They will sell all that they can make! Especially in Diesel 4x4!

I have driven Holdens in Australia. It's the Cadillac of Down Under.....

No manual trans, no 4.3. But it does get a 302hp 3.6l gas motor. It actually shares very few parts with the world version. Nice looking truck.

If you go to Chevrolet.com they already have it listed up with some pics but no pricing yet. I am really liking this over the last body style. Price will be the biggest factor on if it sells well or not. Too close to the 1500, most will likely go with the full size. Guess time will tell.
