Shelf in camper shell

Stacking stuff wasn't cutting it an there is a lot of unused space high up inside my shell. I used some thick plywood, about 3x4 inch and cut them to fit in two pieces lengthwise so that they can be easily installed and removed. I used 2x4 as a support and it raised them above the j-bolts used to hold on the camper shell. (thats my new elocker in the bottom of the bed!)
 
My brother has the same kind of setup in his truck. I think of it as a "Quick Win" mod where you get a whole lot of bang for your buck.
 
I was considering doing boxes in the truck but its my daily driver and surf mobile, so with the four doors and a truck bed I usually drive on all the surf adventures so the boxes would take up room. now I have a "modular" system. not doing the full length of the bed was my wife's suggestion, she is a skilled organizer (O.C.D.)
