Scout-cicles (Winter Camp)

The mighty scout troop that I follow on crazy adventures (I'm the scoutmaster, but they are in charge) ventured out to sleep in snow caves this weekend. We were camped near the historic Atlantic City (The one in WYoming). We dug out on wednesday and we were amazed at how much the snow melted between Wednesday and Friday night. It was a great camp out but it continued to melt through the night, resulting in some wet sleeping bags. I will post some pics tomorrow. Stay Tuned.

This was not some grand expo adventure, but I had great scenery and some cool snow cave photos to present that I thought you all would appreciate.

Will somebody else post a trip report with some pictures to distract these guys until I can get my camera back...

Get used to it... Haggis and Jims65wagon are like Mormon missionaries with an AMWAY franchise.

Hey, don't you have a trip report long over do yourself. Let's get crackin' on that.:tango

Now, see what I mean Fowldarr?

For the rest of the Adventurists out there -- this forum does not discriminate! Everyone's balls will be busted at some time or another. Sometimes at a cyclic rate...

Ugghh...I hate snow. I've just spent too much of my life fighting it to make a living to enjoy it. Kudos to those scouts for making and sleeping in those badger runs. Thanks for posting these up, now if I can focus all my trip reporting chi on Tango.
