It's always nice to partake in an exchange of pleasantries. It doesn't always happen very often in daily human discourse and the business that shrouds our lives.

But I got a chance to be on the receiving end today for American Adventurist. I was very surprised to be called "front and center" during out I4WDTA Testing for Certification this morning to receive a certification of appreciation from the communities of Eldorado and Uwharrie, NC.

The presenter, Jack Morris, described how he was around for the original construction of the building back in 1954 and has seen various improvements over the years, but never have they ever been able to make the progress they have to date until American Adventurist lent them a hand. This most recent upgrade has provided them WIFI service based out of their community center which will also contribute to the center becoming a disaster center, along with other planned upgrades, in the event of an emergency.

This is a tribute to all the hands that played a part in the success of the Appalachian Rendezvous and especially our guests, all of whom have donated their personal treasure of time, money, and enthusiasm.

That is awesome. When I'm down in the Eldorado community I feel like I have drove 9 hours and ended up back home. The people there remind me of the same Appalachian hill dwellers I grew up with here in the hollers of Pennsylvania and the open warmth, humor and honesty of those same folks is refreshing. It's an honor to be a part of AAV's contributions there and hopefully becoming more of a part of the Eldorado extended family.

Thanks for representing us Tim, you've been an amazing ambassador.
