OutdoorX4 has launched!

OutdoorX4

Adventurist
Just thought I'd drop a quick note to let y'all know the OutdoorX4 site has finally launched. We'll be making a number of updates over the next few days to pull new feeds and fix some of the ones already there.

Anyways, check it out and let me know what you think. The magazine will go to press in December and charter subscribers will receive a one year subscription (6 issues), a digital subscription, an OutdoorX4 decal, and a DVD copy of Nature Propelled (a film by Seth Warren) all for only $25.

Check it out here and enjoy. :)

Curious, on your rotating background on your site, the picture of the bunch of rigs stopped on the trail with people mingling, is a picture I took. Where did you get that from?

I thought there were some good looking folks in that picture. And some motley ones as well.

Mike, are you Mike Sherman? If so, I'm glad you posted up as I had previously worked with you about four years back while I was editor/publisher of another pub in which you wrote an article on a Death Valley expedition (which included the one pictured as per above). Let me know and we can visit. As an aside, there is a photo credit on the very bottom (righthand corner) you may/may not be able to see. I may have to request our webmaster update that page so it adjusts based on screen-size.

Thanks to everyone for the support. I hope you're enjoying your weekend...cheers!

No, I am Mike Schwartz (not Sherman) and I did write an article for JeepFreek a few years back. I figured you had gotten that pic from there since I never made a full size, full res. version available anywhere else.

PM me and we can talk more. Thanks.

Just so anyone reading this, all is good with OutdoorX4 using my pic.

Welcome to AAV!!!

I have high hopes for this magazine. I've signed on as a columnist. Wait, that came out wrong. I don't have high hopes for it because I've signed on, I signed on because I have high hopes. Never mind.

Ha! I hear ya, Jonathan. Looking forward to your column, for sure. Always an education. I'm honored to know that my little bit of ink for Frank will be sharing the same pages with your own.

Looking forward to watching OutdoorX4 grow in the coming years and excited to be part of the team.

Subscribe soon, everyone! Thanks. :)

Well that settles it for me Jonathan, if you're writing articles there we know it's going to be solid! Add Wes to the mix and it's a shoe in for success :bowdown

I tried to get a subscription but I could not pay for it,Your site said I had to get a PAY-PAL account .

Jonathan, you gave me a nice little chuckle. It's great to have both you and Wes working with OutdoorX4. T-minus 2.5 months before the first issue goes to print. :)

There should be an option when you click the Subscribe option on our site and are then prompted at Paypal to pay with a card. It says (under the login info if you have Paypal) the following:

No PayPal account? Pay using your credit or debit card

If you still have problems, let us know. Thanks for the support!
