We went on a nice hike up river into the the Little Juniata Wilderness Area on the LJR yesterday to celebrate the new year. It was brisk, in the low 30s, with a good bit of wind. We found one strainer that i hope is swept away this winter. It is right after a bend that will you shoot you straight into it

Also found this print but could not identify?

I had grabbed an ad bargain to start a fire and this was the cover. Also a glass of cheer. These sausages may not look appetizing but OMG... In the cold after a long hike, they were perfect.

Strange, I'm quoted but I don't have a post in this thread? Looks like something I'd have posted though, I'm always looking at nearby water as a paddling location.

And agreed, it looks like a great way to start the New Year. No idea where you are, but if you have a Lowe's Grocery nearby try some of their Star Spangler sausage: "A patriotic bacon cheeseburger blend of hardwood and hickory smoked bacon, aged cheese, black pepper and savory pork sausage" They have a couple of flavors I really like on the grill-

^^^^Something weird happened when I chose the quote option. Quotes from 2 users came up, one completely unrelated. I tried to remove it but it looks like I only removed the text, so Robert still got the credit? Weird!

You maybe hit +quote on one of his posts in another thread but never used it. Or Russians. Still nice hike.
