Lexus GXOR Concept.

Definitely. I like what is going on with the GX lately. The older models can be had for decent deals and it is essentually a V8 4Runner with roomier cabin. New is pricey, but so is everything else, and support is growing (showcased in that clip).

Very nice.

There was a video of one recently in Moab that lost power and brakes and rolled ALL the back down the hill until it hit the rig behind it. Not sure what happened, but it was a GX

Older GX?

My brother just picked up a 2005 GX 470 that I'm helping him build.

Speaking of GX, here is @KM4DWS marking his territory at last year’s Appalachian Rendezvous.

The Toyota version, the Prado, was very popular when we lived in Dubai. With a little bumper trimming they were fantastic in the desert. Easily the equal of the wranglers and FJ Cruisers in the dunes. Oddly, the v6's were viewed as slightly better than the V8's.

So many parts are interchangeable between the Prado, GX, and FJ. Pretty much the same vehicle if you removed the body. The OEM rear LCAs from my 2014 FJ ended up on my brother's 2005 GX.
