Iron man 4x4 toilet

I must say it's pretty cool for a folding toilet. I was using a dog food container which worked very well but very bulky but did not fold flat. I wanted to have some ting that folded flat sturdy and did not take up much room.

I came across this from Iron man 4x4. I was a bit reluctant but figured why not lets give is a test ride so to say. Good reviews. Made out of galvanized steel folds very flat and came with a few bags and a nice snug fit nice plastic lid. Comes with a nice carry case as well and the other side has a pouch for addition. You can also dig a hole if you like and not use the bags if you want to as the bottom is open. I am a big guy and it accommodated me very well. No kidding!

Very sturdy to say the least! Just open it up and the top fits in some grooves. I feel very sturdy on this no worries at all . Weight capacity is 400 lbs! So no worries there. I thought the opening was a bit small when I first looked at it but no plenty of room for sure. Just trust me on this one! More pictures to follow! Not using it as of yet I would give this 5 stars for ease of set up, folds flat to about 1.25 inches

I came across this a few weeks ago and have been doing a little research. The current setup I have for my wife is one of the portable barrel type. It works really well and fairly easily keeps sanitary without worry of spilling. The drawback like you posted is those take up a lot of wasted space inside the vehicle. This model is appealing as it seems to fold very compact. In your opinion, how much room would you have at the bottom of a standard privacy tent when it's fully setup? I can't quite figure out if there are hangers on the underside for the bags or do you have to come up with something on your own larger like a contractor bag? I'd like to be able to stick with the current bags we use as they are a very durable double walled style that has it's own odor neutralizer and gelling component. When everything gets bagged there is no noticeable odor.

I love mine, have owned Ironman 4x4 Bush Toliet since 2018. We use 13 gallon biodegradable compostable trash bags in ours. I like the fact it's built sturdy, folds up to a flat small package with its's own carry case.

I'll wait for it to get knocked off by Smittybilt. The jokes just write themselves...

j/k - this looks like a good option for folks who don't want to deal with the hassle of a cassette-style loo.

We have a 5 gallon plastic bucket with a toilet seat on it and while it works great it takes up entirely too much space. This looks like a possible fix.

Glad you didn’t post any pictures of it in action!

I recently bought one, but have yet to use it. Is there a problem with the bottom edges of the box cutting or tearing the floor of anyone’s shower enclosure?

Since I also just bought a Joolca Ensuite Single, I got some cheap 1/2” foam tiles, like those that interlock for home gym flooring, cut one in half, and have two relatively small pieces to go under the box when in use to prevent damaging the floor.

The foam is easy to store in the Jeep, as well, and as they are solid (vs. honeycomb), I think they’ll dry very quickly if they get wet during a shower.
