If you enjoyed any of the following movies:
  • Usual Suspects
  • Gone in 60 seconds (original)
  • Ronin
  • Reservoir Dogs
  • Bullitt
  • Heat
You will like this movie.

I am by no means connected to this movie. I just saw it to night and have to say it's hands-down one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. If you like honest movies with great characters and solid story... you should see this movie. It's easily one of the best heist/chase movies (along with the ones listed above) without being derivative or outright copying any of those. Plus the soundtrack and sound effects are amazing.

Bonus: all the car stunts were real. That alone is worth the price of admission if you're a gear head.

I've been eyeing this movie for a while. Glad to hear it's as good as the trailers have made it out to be.

I went in expecting a B grade summer action movie. Nothing more than a good popcorn flick. It was hands down an A+. So much better than I was expecting.

Best movie of the year so far. (Last Jedi will replace is, Sorry)

Going to see it for the 3rd time tomorrow with my father in law.

Next to the first Gardians, I can't think of another movie that so seemlessly integrated a perfect sound track with amazingly shot action sequences.

As disappointed as I was with SW:TFA, I honestly don't have high hopes for Last Jedi. All they are doing is regurgitating the same story lines with little to no effort beyond special effects. As much as I love StarWars I'll stick to ep's IV, V, & VI.

I'm hoping it will come to the drive-in. Would be an epic way to watch it.

Not just that but the lyrics in the background graffiti and stuff. I'm sure I'll notice more when I see it again.

I am considering taking my son to see this. We are both excited to see it and want to catch it on the big screen. He is 13. Any insight into what makes it rated R? I am not too worried about violence and language, his video games have all of that.

There are a few gory type scenes during some of the shoot-outs but nothing crazy, that's it. If anything it's more of a soft-R movie. Nothing stands out as something to be avoided. 13 year old me would have loved it.

Edgar Wright is one of the most stylish directors working right now. (The above is not the complete list of his credits, just the ones that have a similarly fun vibe to Baby Driver.)
