Yesterday's news, but thought I'd pass this along anyways. If you're planning to take the I-10 around the area south of Joshua Tree, there are plenty of alternates that I'm sure you all know. :) Bradshaw Trail for one and also cutting through Joshua Tree via the many mining roads (if they're open). Otherwise, the only viable option is to re-route through I-8 down south. 29Palms was flooding yesterday.

Definitely don't use hwy 62 to detour around! Now I have a constant stream of semi trucks roaring past my house 24-7.

:bull.

Flooding in 29P? Reminds me of the aftermath from Snowpocalypse 2008.

Just west of Copper Mountain...

The middle of town J-Tree...

If they'd stop wasting money on Interstates they wouldn't have to worry about the bridges. :D

I love the way the powers that be say the road will be closed "indefinitely". Why not say it will be open as soon as possible? Indefinitely sounds like it will be delayed for years.

I just read they will have "limited" 2-way traffic using the west bound lanes by the end of the week.
