So what happened to Bill? Last I heard from him he was in the Williamsburg area retracing some of his ancestors steps. Sorry I couldn't hook up with him - just couldn't make it work with all my commitments to employers and what not.

We miss your prose and adventures you big lug. Give us a SITREP!

Contrary to reports of his demise due to a vegan lifestyle, he is alive and well. I met up with Bill this past weekend after traversing half of northern Ga. to scout routes for an upcoming run across Ga. I'll poke him with a stick to see why he hasn't been jumping in with his unusual wit and clever chat.
