Hello!

Do you ever really want to post something and you don't know what?

Well, this is kind of like that.

I'm drinking a Long Trail Pumpkin Ale, but it's warm now because I've been nursing it for the better part of the evening. Although I'm not in any rush for summer to be over, I'm happy that the pumpkin spiced beers are already starting to turn up on shelves. It's akin to seeing holiday decorations in Hallmark in September, except welcome.

My facial hair is getting long. I'm just letting it grow. I don't know why. My gf says she likes it, but I fill in like Cliff Clavin from Cheers. I feel like I look like a rat, but at least it's beginning to look like I only have one chin.

What's going on with you guys?

Oh you know... running a website... working on event stuff... dealing with another flare up of shipfitter's disease and treating it by planning another major truck remodel... unwinding after a long day with more work...

How about everyone else?

A lot of work, just got back from Chicago last week, getting ready to go to nashville next week, and going through the house and planning for the impending move to arizona

Oh yeah. I get that. I'm moving next month, too; not across the country, but 50 miles away.

So stoked. Considering setting most of my belongings on fire.

I hate moving unless I live within that which moves.

Good luck! Moving is probably at the top of my LEAST favorite things to do. Yikes!

I just started posting stuff online for sale.....wife was surprised to find the kitchen table sold. (It was an extra, but she was still surprised)

Right now, I'm working on the Internet. Have to update the content management system for a company that recycles vintage lumber from old barns and such. They either re-sell it, or use it to make furniture. Sounds like a pretty fulfilling gig.

I'm wearing the same shirt as yesterday. Smelled clean this morning.

Might take the kayak out later, but not sure where. Right now, I live close to the Schuylkill River in SE PA, but I'll be moving (back) closer to the Susquehanna River, more South-Central, PA, which I'm looking forward to. The Susquehanna is far more interesting.

Not long ago, I was out on the Schuylkill, paddling upstream, and a syringe floated pasted me. I'm not kidding. I am dying to take the kayak somewhere that's unspoiled - you have no idea. Here's a bike we found last weekend.

Good luck with you move, Fowldarr. That sounds like quite the change of scenery.

Right now, I am taking a few pto days before starting my new position with my company next Monday. I'm just relaxing getting my brain straight to prepare for this jump.

I lived in Danville for a year on the Susquehanna. It's far from pristine but I fished it several times a week minus the nov-feb months. I became an expect at small mouth. A mile wide and a foot deep! Great for wading. Think of that bike as "structure"!

Having the entire interior of your house painted is even worse! It's like moving TWICE! Once to get everything out of rooms and then back in again! YUCK! Glad that's over tho!!! I painted the entire interior (3600 sq ft) when we bought the place in 1996. I did a pretty darned good job - lasted18 years and still looked good. I let the pros do it this time. Getting too old for that stuff!
