It hasn't been said. Hope everyone enjoys their day.
While holiday plans are likely filled with pyrotechnic delights, hot grills, and maybe a cold beverage or too, it is good to remember that it isn't the date so much we are celebrating, the "4th of July", but Independence Day. It is kind of a powerful word, and is it too much of a stretch to connect "independence" with what we do? Many chose their vehicle for rugged capability, to declare that smooth asphalt and mundane commutes are intolerable. At the same time, we also thrive in groups, banded together so that we don't have to do it alone and can share experiences with the common bond of that same independent spirit. Independence doesn't mean alone. Adventure! America! Yeah!
