I bought a pair of these a month ago on promotive.com. I had not used them until this week except for extra lights in my driveway, and now I am impressed. I was in fort Hunter Liggett for an op this week. We were not tactical so we lived in a plywood building, but there was no power. I brought two of the light a life's. I had an old motor cycle battery that I attached a 12 volt socket to. I plugged the lights into the battery using the included adapter. The results: outstanding!

The lights draw 5 watts each so not much power is needed. The included carribener (spelling error?) slides on the 10ft cord to allow multiple attachment points.

The light itself is also magnetic and can be attached to any metal surface.

Pro: low draw, bright and adjustable, multiple ways to mount. Can chain multiple lights together from a single power source.

Con: needs a goal zero battery or 12 volt cigarette type source.

I sell their gear and use tons of it. I haven't been upset with any of it. It's just been great.

Those lights sure are making your place bright!

Those really are cool Andy. Love the mounting options.
