Glad I have an RTT.

"What a privilege and damn lucky that we weren't their breakfast," is what he should have said.

Indeed explosive and quite violent diarrhea, enough to scare them away. I would've had a weapon instead of a stupid camera in hand...

I had virtually the same thing happen to me at Rubicon Springs, except it was a black bear. It rubbed it's nose on my tent fabric sniffing...all I had for defense was a 3-D cell Mag Lite.

A RTT wouldn't stop a lion. Just saying.

This one might.

MRV last year trailer with a RTT next to us in the upper campground had paw prints on it one morning that were too big to be from a dog! Then there's Muffin the bear that frequents a BSA summer camp facility north of Kernville. She sauntered thru our campground one late evening headed to the Camp Mess Hall. Scoutmaster in the tent next to me thought it was some of the kids up and goofing off. Opened his tent flap and said hello to Muffin! She ignored him and went on her merry way. He's never wanted to go back to Camp Whitsett ever since!

Those lions are another story!
