Comes with extra filter screens, I'm using three inside it and makes wonderful coffee that way! That is a nice one. Sadly for me I could not find a non see through one when I was shopping.

I just made coffee in one that looks exactly like that one. I love it, works as advertised, a little heavy for back packing.
I broke to many glass beakers of the Italian brand (all my fault), bought a REI plastic one and wore it out (good for back packing, very lite). Bought the one I just used about 2 years ago, so far it's bullet proof.

I would recommend you try my way of making coffee but that would be akin to me shooting myself in the foot.
