first kayak trip of the year down the "mighty mo"

We made it out today for a little trip down mahoning creek, thank god, I was goin crazy with this cold weather. The trip was just a short one but a good one. We saw a hand full of ducks on the creek also some pretty cool ice slabs piled up on the banks. Will post some pics soon as I figure out how

Nice...I'm envious as our creeks are still ice packed. The Allegheny was clearing yesterday but there was a good 6 or 7 foot of ice pack built up along the edges making access pretty hard.

It runs through Punxsutawney, the pike will be making their way up creek to spawn in the next month or so, pretty neat, they come all the way up from mahoning damn through punxsy to the town of Big Run and if u catch it right you can see 100's of big fish in the creek, gunnar wants to go again today, how can I say no?
