Eye in the Sky

I saw the movie Eye in the Sky last weekend. Interesting. The people who produced it clearly want to get you thinking about the various issues. I basically came away from it thinking "What a bunch of pussies those British politicians are." I give it two stars.

My rating system is as follows:

Four Stars: An unbelievably awesome movie, like the original Star Wars or the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

Three Stars: A really good movie. I'll buy the DVD when it comes out.

Two Stars: A good movie, but I won't buy the DVD.

One Star: I should have waited for it to come out on cable.

Zero Stars: I can't believe anyone would waste their time and money watching this crap.

The movie intrigues me but only because of the cast and their skill as actors. Predictably I felt the story would be preachy and you've confirmed that I will enjoy it more on cable. We opted for "Midnight Express."

Unfortunately our country's populace has defaulted to a notion of moral war. Our liberally enlightened politicians who have never donned a unifrom restrain our Forces with ROE that puts Servicemembers lives at risk and ultimately exchanges American treasure (young men and women) for political cause.
