Compact Propane B-B-Q

Traveling the west this summer and need a propane grill, something smaller than my Weber but that can be connected to a full size tank. Any ideas?
 
Cadac Safari Chef. Reasonable price can work from an LP tank or a 1 pound cartridge. Multipurpose accessory pieces and fits in it's own compact carrying case.

I'll second this. I use a cadac safari chef that my dad passed down to me. He used it for 15 to 20 years before I got it, and it still works flawlessly. I love mine...
 
Yes. If I'm planning a specific menu I may take both. I have a splitter and can run the Partner and the Cadac at the same time from the single LP tank.
 
Not I. I carry only the cadac. Thst being said, I'm solo on most of my trips. If I had family coming along, I'd do a stove and the cadac.

I third this. I used mine last week taking my 3 kids and niece camping to Sequoia National Park. Ive grilled steak in the middle of Baja and heated water for coffee in Big Bear. Its one of the best birthday presents I ever told my wife she got me! :D
 
Thanks everyone, I'll be on the road so can't order online. Maybe I can find one in Phoenix as I work my way towards O. E.

That might be tough... I only know of on-line retailers who offer these. CADAC used to be a vendor at past Expo's but I don't recall seeing them the last 2 years. They even had product for sale when they were there.

I checked the Expo exhibitor list and I don't see the there. Too bad - they always had something good on the grill...
