Air mattress recommendations

Does anyone here know who makes a queen sized air mattress that will last more than 5 or 6 uses? I had a Coleman that lasted 6 years of at least 30 nights/year. I've tried several brands (including Coleman), in all price ranges, but none seem to hold air for many uses. This is our preferred camp bed, and I'd like to finally get a good one. I also want it to be a low one without a built in pump. Any ideas?

Does it have to be a true queen size? I haven't seen anything in that size that was built to last. However there are several high-quality inflatable sleeping pads available in sizes closer to "full" than "queen".

It needs to be queen sized to fit our bedding. We use it in the Oztent, so the high ones won't work. The foam would take up too much packing space, but it is very comfortable. That's what we use in the Subie.

If has to be a queen and it has to be air only, you may be SOL on a quality pad/mattress. I think everyone making a queen-size air mattress assumes that you'll never take it outside or use it more than a few times.

That's disappointing. It is the perfect solution for us. I really like having a "real" bed with blankets and a down comforter. When it's 20 degrees I can sleep like a log, then let Mr Buddy get the tent all toasty in the morning. That makes it much easier to get up. I guess I was spoiled by the first one that lasted so long.

What happened to roughing it? Asks the Glamper....

My wife and I used the REI queen mattress for a while and it held up just fine (and I'm no lightweight).

I have an Alps Mountaineering twin and queen bed. I love them both. I used the queen maybe three for four times before deciding to get a twin. I will sell the queen to you for $40, if you're interested. They sell for a little under $90 on Amazon. I will be at the Goose Gear swap meet the weekend after Expo, or at Expo, if you're there. Let me know. It is in perfect shape.
