With everyone on the west coast at the DRV. Me thinks it's gonna be a quiet weekend here. I can't wait to get out on the open road of freedom!
 
There are us poor souls who could not make it to DRV holding down the fort. Were you at the North Rim Campground after Expo last year?
 
Yes I went to both rims. Did we meet? I was at Mather CG on the south rim where someone had cancelled and an older couple liked my trailer and asked about it. When our conversation was over they offered me their spot the next day, where I met another couple whom helped me with some lynch pins to mount my Hi-lift on my bull bar. Plus we had dinner with a expo guy from Colorado we met there. We then went over to Desert View then around the Vermillion Cliffs and Navajo Bridges to the North rim. The 1st night there the "Brian" and I camped in the group spot because everything else was full, and then a woman in line behind me was canceling her spot the next day so I got it. I never would've found out if it were not for the USF Bulls shirt she was wearing. It's where I grew up, turns out she was one of my father's students from some time ago. We're you the couple in the SpringBar Tent? Or someone else I may have met. My trailer drew lots of attention from folks all over. "A tent on a trailer?" Was what I heard often. Everyone I met liked it. Dan.

Yep we were in the SpringBar. Enjoyed talking to you. Going back in June and our kids are joining us. I see you are moving up in the world with your new camper. Congrats on your purchase.
 
It's pretty quiet on the boadd, but rest assured, those of us at AAV are having a blast :)
