As the title states, is there way to save a thread?

I would like to save my trip report threads - I have the pictures and commentary, and would like to hang on to the reply comments.
 
You can print each page in a thread and save as a PDF. That won't get you the thread images though but if you just want the commentary, it'll do.

I'm creating an archive of the entire site. Articles & forum. Hopefully I won't miss something but since it's automated I probably won't know until long after the AAV site goes down. Contact me on Instagram and I'll send you a link to a Google Drive when it's ready.
 
Printing them to PDF seems to be the best way, like Greg said. I grabbed my Ultimate Adventure Report thread like that. Also had a buddy create a Python script to scrape that thread and download all the posts to a text file and download all the images in the thread just in case I didn't have them anymore.
 
You can also mostly copy and paste to another forum but you’ll have to add the pictures in.
