Ya the desert bar is rad. Second time i have gone, it has gotten a lot bussier.Great pics. The desert bar is on my bucket list of places to visit for sure.
Got my dual 450c compressors mounted up. Fabricated the bracket, and they mount to the frame up high behind the rear tire.

The bottom has the plate to keep them shielded, also they are close to the rear wheel liner, i feel like they are protected quite well. Also the viair compressors are 100% sealed.Did you build something in the way of a shield for the compressors? (to keep whats splashed up by the rear tires off them) That area on my truck ends up with a LOT of mud packed into it. Are you running a tank, and if so, where is it mounted? (also, I have got to say AWESOME pictures, looks like you had a fantastic trip!!!!!)
Thank you its been fun so far!Okay cool! Thank you for the info! I'll be watching your build, looks great!
Anyone else having trouble logging in with tap talk?
Love that area, we just dI'd Rattlesnake to Tip Top and down to cougar buttes for one of the month trail runs. I think it was NovemberDid another weekend trip headed out to Lucerne valley, camped off Bessimer mine road. Then took dirt up Rattlesnake canyon towards big bear, stopped off at Pioneer town. Then hit Tip top mountain, and dirt to big bear.
All the yellow post sites were taken in big bear so we took the 18 back down the Cougar buttes and camped for the night.
