Looking for recommendations for dual band (UHF/VHF) antennas. Preferably one with an NMO mount. Also is a spring worth it for tight trails or generally unnecessary?

I've used a Diamond CR320BNMO Triband for my Yeasu and I'm happy with it. If you're on a trail with a lot overhead you can lift and fold it over so a spring isn't necessary with a little planning.

If you have a Front Runner roof rack their antenna mount pivots.
I'm not sure about the current version. The version I had on the camper shell had spring loaded pins in the pivot so the antenna could be knocked down.

So trying out this Larsen on my existing Midland NMO mount since I didn’t have to rerun any cable. Hooked up to a 50watt Yaesu, the range is ridiculous and there are plenty of repeaters around here to get even further. Happy so far. Also found this nice quick detach (no drill) mount on Quadratec. Solid little part.
