Another 4runner lock question, locked warm-up?

My 05 4runner wont allow me to get out and lock the door with it running. I googled it, but this wasnt addressed in anything i found. I tried to log into the 4runner forum and had password and reset problems. :( Is it possible to re-code the locking system or disconnect sensors to allow me to start the vehicle, and get out of it and lock it? I cant lock the door with another key once out, the remote wont lock the doors, and I cant have the door open, lock it, then close the door. The smart computer keeps opening ALL the locks when I try to do this.

Theres several situations where I want to be able to do this.
 
Well, I was able to lock the doors with the key from outside with it running. I was sure Id tried it before, but it worked in the driveway this time, as did locking it with the rear lock. Hopefully it will continue to work this way.
