Yet to be named mild 04 doc tundra build.

I like the white knuckle sliders the best but they are out of my price range. I think I am going to go with the Stubbs deluxe sliders.

I have White Knuckle sliders, and can tell you they are top notch. I know nothing of the Stubbs and they may be great, but I can say the White Knuckle will take the full weight of the power wagon dropping on them with nothing but a scratch to the powder coat, and John is a great guy to deal with.

Well, my sliders are finished and should be at my door step when I get home tomorrow. I can't wait to get them mounted.

It's looking great, I'm very impressed with your "first" time welding on the rack, it looks professional to me. It's fun, isn't it, I enjoy the hunt for parts and the fab. Keep it up, looking forward to more.

Thanks. It's is a lot of fun and addictive. I think I am going to try to fab up a prerunner style light bar next.

Well I'm watching this slider install closely. I have a feeling that a set of these will be on ole Fafhrd here before long.

Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to install the sliders this weekend. My next 3 weekends are booked up. So as much as I hate to, I may have to pay someone to install them. I don't think I can wait 3 weeks to put them on myself. I'm too impatient.

Call me lazy, but I would almost rather pay someone to do the difficult/heavy lifting work on my truck.. I wouldn't blame you. If you have the money to pay someone to get them on, sooner than 3 weeks from now, I'd jump on it too hahaha...
Scott

I feel like I am cheating by paying someone to install them for me considering I own a welder. But my impatience got the best of me. A local shop will be installing them weds morning.

Well, I finally got my sliders installed today. Overall I am very happy with them. My only complaint is with the shop that installed them. They were supposed to notch the pinch welds so it would fit tighter to body. But I'm pleased either way.

After a long day of a " family picture " session and a 4 yr old b day party Last night, I was in need of some nature time. So at 9pm last night I decided to load up my sleeping bag, some food, and Molly ( our dog) and head to the national Forrest for an impromptu camping trip.

This was the first time I got to use the led strip lights in the trailer. They worked great.

The weather was perfect this morning so we just layed around and relaxed a while before cooking
breakfast and heading back home.

I found a good section to test the trailers abilities and angles.
And to be honest my abilities pulling it offroad! I was a little worried about it being a little top heavy but she performed great.
