Warn Thimble vs. ProLink

Last week, I acquired a nice almost-new ProLink for my winch.

I attempted to install it on the winch line (synthetic) only to find out that the thimble used by Warn is ever so slightly wider than the channel in the ProLink.

Other than taking a flap disk to the thimble, does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

The thimble is on the synthetic line that came with my VR 10 winch.

I had the same issue with the thimble on my 3/8 Warn Spidura line not playing well with their large Epic hook.

It's baffling how companies make gear and don't test fit it during development to ensure integration with their other products BEFORE they mass produce it.

Warn should have caught that :coffee
