Things have progressed a bit. My trailer now has wheels to match the truck

No not really. The M101A3 rides better than the truck even.

Not to hijack this thread, but BlkWgn I saw you used a buddy heater in your trailer. Any thoughts or opinions? I contemplated this but was worried about the flame hazard and gas exhange. It's certainly cheaper than the hard installed options!
In theory they are safe but I don't trust them overnight. We run it for a few minutes to get into the sleeping bags and a few minutes again in the morning. Does not take much to heat it up. I also keep a monoxide alarm with it. I use the same rules in the tent.
