The Random Thoughts Thread

I was just thinking how nice it would be to have optional floor gear shift handle replacements. Like have a TP Roll or a can of your favorite 'soda' or the Milineum Falcon....but big...like a giant Pez Dispenser shaped like a DEVO Powerdome.....

Mmmmm...

I would love to actually see a nuclear bomb test. That would be more enjoyable. The sheer power. To bad I wasn't alive in Vegas during the early 60's when it was known as Atomic City.

They're buried in snow in Idaho and it was 80' in Santa Barbara over the weekend. Remind me again why I want to move there? jk jk

I want to move to Idaho for many reasons including being buried by snow. Well, indirectly wanting...the remote rugged pristine wildernesses rich in natural resources and steeped in history are my main reasons.
The land teems with Elk, Moose, Grizzly and Sasquatch. Well, occasionally anyway....

Idaho is a fantastic place. My parents have lived there since 92. But this winter has been a real challenge with the amount of snow a number of days it did not get above freezing. Tough to get out of your driveway.

Guess that would depend on what part of Idaho. My friend in Sandpoint has had to deal with more snow than us in Boise. We are experiencing an unused amount of snowfall this year.

However, I haven't found it to be a real challenge. The advantage of working from home is getting to chose when we go out.

The reasons @100acrehuphalump mentioned are reasons we moved here. Although I moved to Boise specifically for investing. And the backyard of Idaho's wilderness.

I spent 4 1/2 yrs in Florida and two winters in the southern CA desert. I'm enjoying the snow and experiencing real seasons.

I Canoe. Can you CanGnu too, when was the last time you had your Gnu in the water?

Yes, I agree this was horrible, but I didn't have to eat a taco.

I thought I gnu the difference between a wildebeest and a gnu, apparently I don't. Now my curiosity will lead me around the interweb learning something gnu. My brain is full, so if I learn something gnu, something else in there gets pushed out the other side...usually it's something my wife told me to do.

Edit: That didn't take long, same damn animal, two names. Now I have to figure out what got pushed out the other side... Thanks, Dan!
