The Random Thoughts Thread

Sorry to hear about your wife's sister Raul. Keep everyone's spirit up.

We've been working out my grandmother's cancer as well, and luckily the CEA numbers are way down from what they were LAST November. So from the doctor's early diagnosis of 2-3 months then, has now progressed to 10+ months and counting. Treatment, good spirits, good support works wonders. She may see her grandson get married after all, and we're pushing for it!

My feel good story for a Friday morning...

The local classic rock radio station has a listener call in and recite the Pledge of Allegiance every morning at 6AM. I was road testing a customers car home and back (I work at a dealership), customer happens to be a Pearl Harbor survivor, he was on board the USS Tennessee. His car has Arizona "Pearl Harbor Survivor" plates. I got the chills this morning on my way in with the car when the Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Decided to do an exhaust vid of the CB200. Never heard it off the bike, and man, it's louder than I thought it was. People definitely hear me coming and going, which these days is not a bad thing. I love the little backfire too. Makes it sound bigger than it really is.

Slash cut 16" shorty mufflers compared to the CB350 26" mufflers that were on there before.

Friday dreams!

That OAL is definitely under 30" which by law makes it an SBR. :lol

Ona serious note, I'd definitely put an orange tip on both if those Raul, if you plan on taking that outside. Safety first. No mistakes.

I hadn't seen it. That's just freakin' nuts. I always say I wheel with anything that has a transfer case, I think I'd draw the line with that guy.

There's wheeling it and there's being stupid. The line seemed obvious to everyone except that guy apparently. I'm guessing that was quite the costly lesson.

the picture has been going around Instagram for the last week.. there is a diff shot of it that ill try and locate and post... so far I have no other details on how or why.....
I saw it on the Texas Overland FB group. Here are the others they had. Something about "dragging that down the wild cat" so I'm assuming it's the "wild cat trail", but I have no idea what or where that is.

I wonder if it was a "we've come too far to back this thing up the trail so let's just go forward" scenario.
