i kinda dropped off the planet for awhile. life went super sideways a few months ago. picking myself up has turned out to be a much more difficult and slower process than i had imagined. getting there slowly. found some time yesterday to get the truck dirty and that helped immensely.

Just as long as you get yourself right-side up, things will fall into place no matter how long it takes. Glad to see you're able to get out and get some lens time. Love your photos!
 
Earlier in this thread, I mentioned that I was going back to what I consider the most beautiful place on earth. I backpacked there with a few great friends at the end of July. It's 13 miles in with a lot of cross country. Here's a few shots from that journey:

What? I thought you guys had like 14-inches of snow down there. Did you'all use it up already?

We only got around 4 inches here, and that washed away rather quickly.. We where right on the very narrow border between no snow and a foot or more of snow. 55 today, supposed to be 63 Saturday.
