OutdoorX4 magazine is sponsoring a photo contest for the 2014 Appalachian Rendezvous in Uwharrie, NC.

1st, 2nd and 3rd Place winners will receive prizes from OutdoorX4, and selected photos will be featured in print in an upcoming issue of OutdoorX4 magazine! http://outdoorx4.com/main/

Photos must be posted here on AAV to be considered for winning, deadline for photo submission is 31 November 2014.

Photo submissions for the magazine must be in high res (if using an iPhone select HD in your camera and if shooting with a DSLR camera, select RAW image type). :cool:

Thanks Dave! Yes, we are hosting a photo contest for this upcoming weekend's inaugural Appalachian Rendezvous! In addition to copies of the magazine being made available to the first 85 attendees, we're also offering some cool swag in our first photo contest with the winning submissions to be featured in the upcoming issue of OutdoorX4. Images should incorporate the adventure lifestyle via a pretty landscape while at the event or integrating the vehicle and/or recreation such as paddling/mountain biking while at Rendezvous. Be sure to shoot your pics in high res (if using an iPhone select HD in your camera and if shooting with a DSLR camera, select RAW image type). Prizes will include subscriptions to the magazine as well as t-shirts/decals as well as some cool swag from some of our advertisers.

Post up and have fun! Photos must be submitted by 10/31 and can be emailed to me directly at editor@outdoorx4.com.

I've got subscriptions, t-shirts, and other goodies to give away including getting your images published in the year-end issue so post up and send your best image to me via email to editor@outdoorx4.com by 10/31 as noted by Dave. :)
 
New phone and old computer not cooperating with each other. I'll email a pic or two. I'll try again to download pics tonight.
 
One more thing to note. The top-two images will be featured as the background of our Table of Contents for the new issue, and the top image will be featured in The Great Escape section of the magazine. These are high visibility spots in the magazine so post up your best photos!!!
